Localized air-strike ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine now reached its third day of peace

On Tuesday, both Russian and Ukrainian forces agreed to a localized ceasefire in a struggling city in Southern Ukraine. The pause throughout the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky this week allowed food and medical supplies into the diminished city. The ceasefire has now reached its third straight day. Military units have cleared mines away, as this is one of the only ceasefire efforts that haven’t immediately fallen apart, according to the Associated Press. Despite the truce, both remain locked into the four and a half year war.
